Well our doctor's appointment at U of M Pediatric Gastroentology was this morning. Thankfully we weren't late, it only took us an hour to get there. Thankfully also that her dad drove! The roads were TERRIBLE! We got there early and were seen early so that was nice. She got to wear her new snowsuit for the first time today.
The first thing they did was weight and measure her. The numbers were different from Tuesdays doctors appointment. She weighed only 9 pounds 13 ounces and was 24.25 inches long!! I think U of M is more accurate becuase the nurse the other day had trouble getting the scale to balance and also I figured she was longer than 22 inches!
The doctor said that no upper G.I. is needed!! This was a big relief to me! She is what they call a 'happy spitter' . She has a slight case of reflux and there is not much they can do for it. She gave us a prescription for Zantac and said to try it for 2-3 weeks and if it doesnt help stop giving it to her. She also said be prepared for this to PEAK at 4 months!! (You mean its gonna get worse?!?!?) She should grow out of it by 1 year. So that was good news that there is nothing wrong, I was relieved to hear that.
So I guess all there is to do now is sit and wait for this puking to be over, only 10 more months to go!! lol.
