Well Olivia is 2 months old (almost to the day) and I decided to finally start a blog for her. I think it will be a lot easier for me to keep in touch with people this way. That way everyone can check up on us when it's easiest for them. I will try my hardest to update this at least once a week if I can.
All I can say about the past two months is WOW! Time sure does fly by. I can't believe how fast it has gone by! But so far I have loved every minute of it. She started out on the small side, only 6 pounds 8 ounces and is still pretty tiny. She had finally broke the 9 pound mark at her last doctors appointment! Liv has had many doctor's appointments so far...from not gaining weight, to having problems going to the bathroom, to our current problem- constant spitting up, we have been there at least every other week! She goes in tommorow for her 2 month well visit and shots... :(
Friday she is going to see a pediatric gastrointologist to evaluate the spitting up problem. She gets sick a minimum of 3-4 times per bottle and usually spits up at least a couple ounces. They think she may have infant reflux. We have switched her formula one time already and it seemed to really help at first but she can only tolerate the ready to feed form which costs $8.78 per 32 ounce can!!! Its still not as bad as it was, but she is still getting sick quite a bit...so we'll see what they say on Friday.
Other than all of that we have been having so much fun! She smiles ALL the time, and is also starting to coo. She has this activity mat that she LOVES to be under. It has lights on it and she will lay there kicking her feet and playing for an hour sometimes. It is really fun for me to just sit and watch her. She still sleeps a lot during the day, for 3 hours at a time sometimes. Although she is not sleeping through the night yet, she only wakes up 1 time usually, so I have gotten used to that and it is really not that bad. She is a pretty good baby most of the time, I can't really complain! I look forward to what the future brings for her, but love her at this age. I spend as much time as I can just holding her close and cuddling her.
