On Monday she went for her 1 year checkup. She weighs 20 pounds, 2 ounces and is 19.5 inches long! (remember she started at 6 lbs, 8oz, 20.5 in.) so she has progressed good! She is still on the small side of the spectrum tho! She is hitting all of her milestones appropriately and doing well! She had two shots and did good with them.

Olivia's 1st Birthday Part 2
Olivia's real birthday was on October 16th. To celebrate we went to Red Robin for dinner with Great Grandma, Aunt Mel and Uncle Chris. They sang to Olivia and brought her a sundae. It was cute. The next day we had her birthday party. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate. I did a ladybug theme and went a little crazy. It was fun and I am glad I did. However, she will not be getting parties like that every year! She got some really fun toys and clothes, and a very special baby ring. Oh yeah, and a quad from Mom and Dad! She tore into the black part of her cake, and well you will see what happened. End result was a rash from the dye in the frosting!

Also this week Aunt Sara took Olivia's 1 year pics. They turned out soo well! Sara is really getting good at it! Check them out at:

Olivias Birthday Part 1
Olivia had her 1st of two birthday parties today at Grandpa J and Meme's house. Loris family came over to celebrate Olivias birthday with her. She had so much fun being the center of attention! She looked adorable in her tutu with her wand and all. She got lots of cool things to play with. She got a ride on Giraffe toy, 2 new babydolls, 2 supercute outfits, blocks, and diapers! Her favorite part I think was the cake! She didnt waste anytime eating it! She stayed pretty clean for the most part too. She still needed a bath for sure, but i have seen a lot worse damage done! She loved digging in and tearing that cake apart!! YUM! She was so cute. I cant wait for her big party next weekend. There will be lots of friends and family to share this special day with us! I cant believe that it has already been a year since she was born. Where does all the time go??

Relay for Life and Pumpkin Patch
This past weekend was a really busy one for us! We went to Relay for Life on Saturday. It was really cold but Olivia still made it around a couple of times. Afterwards she went to Grandpa's and Mimi's while I went back. I ended up staying the night and everything. We had a lot of fun and raised a lot of money for a cause that is dear to us. We are looking forward to next year!

The following day we were invited to go to Kreeger Farms to the Pumpkin Patch. This was a LOT of fun!! There was a lot for the kids to do. The wagon ride out to the patch was rainy but it let up and we were able to get some good pics and good pumpkins. Olivia loved all of the pumpkins and was excited watching all of the kids. We will be making that a tradition of ours each fall!

In other happenings we are just busy, busy, busy. I have been working a lot as well as keeping up with school. Olivia is now a full time walker!! She is into EVERYTHING!! And loves to be independent. She has developed such a funny little personality and is soo much fun to be around. I have been busy planning the perfect birthday and am really excited for her party that is coming up! I cant believe it has already been a year!

Apple Orchard and Happenings
We had an exciting weekend last weekend. We went to Spicers Apple Orchard! Olivia and Emma both had a blast. They really have a lot for the kids to do there. (although almost every single thing cost extra money!) Olivia really liked watching all the kids, and Emma enjoyed being a kid and getting dirty! We picked raspberries (which Olivia LOVES) and apples. Also ate HOT donuts and fresh cider! YUM! Will definetely go back at least 1 more time this season! As you can see Olivia is nearly 2.5 feet tall already!

Oh yeah and by the way....I pretty much have a WALKER on the loose!! Yes, she is WALKING soo much now! She can walk from one end of the living room to the other and back. She is still quite wobbly and gets ahead of herself but shes getting there. I cant believe my baby is already walking... SO EXCITING! She also got her 6th tooth this week. She has developed such a sweet little personality and is just soo much fun. I love every minute with her.

11 Months Old
I cant believe that I am writing a post named 11 months old already!?!?! Didnt I just start this blog??? We have been really busy around here the past month. We are finally starting to fall into a routine of daycare and school now that we are all healthy! She is really liking daycare and it is so good for her to be around other kids. She weighs about 20 pounds now. She is SOO close to walking all the time. She just takes off (more so at home than anywhere else) and will walk halfway across the living room before stopping or falling down. She is also turned into quite the climber...anything she can climb on, she does, or at least attempts it. Olivia says a few words. "hi", "day-day"= baby, "gog"=dog. She loves dogs. And babies. She has a total of 5 teeth now and is ready to cut a 6th one anyday now! Olivia is just so much fun these days, I love spending time with her! I really cant believe we are closing in on her 1st birthday already.....time goes soo fast! Here are some pics I took today...
And I had to throw in one I snapped of Emma....she is loving Kindergarten!

Linzy's BBQ
Today our family held a bbq in honor of my cousin Linzy, who passed away suddenly earlier this year. We all miss her very much. The bbq turned out SOO nicely, due to a lot of hard work between many family and friends. Everyone had a good time and was able to remember what a great young woman Linzy was. We also were able to raise money for our Relay for Life team- Linzy's Ladies. Since the American Cancer Society was a cause that was close to Linzy's heart, we have created a team in her honor to keep her hard work going. We will continue to take donations until the walk, October 3, 2009 @ Fowlerville High School. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather. Linzy would have been so very proud of everyone's hard work in making this event a success and to see all of the people who love and miss her. Here are a few pictures from today:
Linzy's Littlest Lady!! I love this picture!

Livs 1st Goose Egg : (
Olivia got her 1st Goose Egg on Friday : (. She slammed her forehead on the fireplace and immediately got a bruise and a bump. It was pitiful...This is the best picture I could get. A few days later she still has a bit of a bump and the bruise has turned yellow : ( .

Today was Olivia's first day at daycare. I tried to take a picture just cuz when I came home she had messy hair/clothes/face and it was funny...but this was the best I could get. She absouletly loved it. She was happy to see me when I got there, but after a quick kiss wanted to get right down and play with the kids again. So relieved to know Olivia likes where she will be spending 3 days a week!
In other news, she has stopped eating babyfood for the most part and has moved onto Gerber Graduates or whatever we are eating. She loves to feed herself! She is also getting very brave and taking sets of steps randomly. It wont be long for sure until she just takes off full time! Each day she gets more sassy...her latest is to blow raspberries while eating and getting food EVERYWHERE! She also LOVES her babydolls and even rocks them, so precious. Olivia also learned to give hugs last week, but is very selective as to who gets one! : )
