4 Months Old

So I know its a bit early for a swim suit, but there is a photo contest I want to enter Liv in for the magazine Babytalk. So I took some pics...but I think Im going to try and take some more with a different background, but this was still cute so I thought I would post it.
This picture just was cute, Olivia LOVES a bath, but she is rarely happy when she gets out...so I took advantage of this happy moment and took a few pics of her laying so nicely in her towel on her changing table eating her hand

I took this pictures of Olivia when she turned 4 months old. She had her 4 months well visit today...she had two pokes but she barely cried at all! She gained her weight back from being sick, she weighed 12 pounds 13 ounces, I was really happy about that!! She was 25 inches long. She has had this rash for a couple of days and he looked at that today and said that it was probably eczema...so we have to use only Aveeno Baby products now and hopefully that will clear it up. He also said to start giving her cereal on a spoon and in 1 month start her on vegetable baby food! Love the face she is making in this pic!

What a weekend!!

Well, who would have thought me of all people would get a tattoo?? Certainly not me! I have decided to start trying new things and see where it gets me. I really wanted to do something special for Olivia and decided that I wanted a tattoo. So I went and got one! (Christopher Mel's BF went with me and got one too). I decided I just wanted something simple. So I wanted a heart and a ladybug becuase we call Olivia "Bug, and LivvyBug" all the time. So thus we have my tattoo!! And it didnt hurt as bad as I thought it would. I had the mentality " I had a baby, I can do anything!!" lol. Anyways, I am happy with the way it turned out, here it is...

This weekend Mel and I also took Emma and Olivia to Build A Bear for Valentine's Day. (Who knew there would be a line OUT the door!! lol). Emma had a gift card to use and boy did she have fun! She picked a panda bear with a Hannah Montana song in the foot, and a Cinderella outfit! Emma had a BLAST and picked out everything all by herself! I also made a bear for Olivia. Olivia LOVES it, lol. She talks to it and plays with it and tries to stick it in her mouth. It is really cute! Here are the girls and their bears!

***If Tracey or Judy are reading this, is there anyway you could leave me your email addresses in a comment?? Thanks!! ***

Its Been Awhile...

Livvy in her big girl overalls!

Getting ready for Valentines Day

Cute outfit from Aunt Mel

Well it has been a busy couple of weeks since I have been on here. Olivia has once again been very sick! She had gotten better for a couple of days and then came down with the bronchiolitis again. We were once again in and out of the doctors office and the ER. This time was by far the worst she's been. Not only did it linger longer and not get any better, it was harder to treat. Her doctor has referred us to an asthma/allergist specialist at U of M. They think that she may possibly have asthma. She was tested for RSV and we are awaiting the results of that test. She was given steoroids, steoriods and more steoriods and a shot of them FINALLY helped to kick this and make her breathing better. She has been throwing up about half of her bottles each day which has caused her to lose 1 1/2 pounds in the past week...not so good. But we are finally beginning to ween her off of the albuterol and gradually she is gaining her appetite back. The wheezing and rapid breathing has also stopped for the most part now. I can finally stop worrying soo much aboout her.

In the meantime, being sick hasnt stopped her from doing new things. She is recently interested in toys and even has a favorite. She also loves to put anything she can in her mouth! Olivia has definetely found her voice and likes to have a "conversation" with you which includes blowing lots of bubbles! Just the past couple of days she has began to roll onto her side and is trying soo very hard to get onto that tummy of hers! We're working on it and I suspect that she will be rolling over any day now!
