Cousins

On Friday we had a playdate at Aunt Sara's house! All of the kids were able to come and play together and they had soo much fun. (Emma, Elle, Dylan, Noah and Olivia) Emma and Elle always have fun once they warm up to one another. And as always all the kids were surrounding their "Grammy" (Tami)! The boys are very interested in Olivia these days and were being so sweet to her. When Sara babysat the day before she said that the boys were always by Olivia and made sure she had her binky and toys!

Later on that night, her dad came to visit. It was a bath night so Jim was going to give her her bath. The two of them always have so much fun cuz he likes to play with all her bath toys and squirt her, etc. Well she was in her Bumbo seat and all of the sudden got this silly grin on her face and started grunting....well I knew what was happening and started cracking up...and he soon figured it out. She was pooping in the tub!!! (GROSS!) I decided that he deserved to clean it up, after all I ALWAYS get all the nasty stuff to clean up! (Which included her puke this morning at 5am!) So I took the baby while he cleaned the mess....he could barely stomach it, he was gagging and everything! After he finally got it cleaned up, we had to put Olivia back into the tub to finish her bath. She was so happy and cute in her towel afterwards as if she knew what she just did to her daddy!

Lucky You!

Lucky you!The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year. {might be a little while}
4. You have no clue what it's going to be.It may be a story. It may be poetry or an article on properly cleaning your face before a masque. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me!*Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!*

By the way, Olivia is feeling MUCH better these days! We will be able to start weening her off the breathing treatments tommorow!! So that is really good!

Update

Well, we ended up taking Olivia to the doctors yesterday and they said she had bronchiolitis. They said to give her breathing treatments every 4-6 hours. So we had been and today she woke up and was sounding worse!! Ugh! So I took her to U of M to the emergency room. If she would have been any worse they would have kept her in the hospital. Thank goodness she was well enough to come home! That would have been really scary to have to be in the hospital! So we are going to her peditrician tommorow for a follow up visit. Hopefully she improves and doesnt get worse! They are now going to watch her for asthma since this is the second time in her life she has been so sick. I will try and post an update tommorow night after her appointment!

Wii Fun!

Livvy with Becca's Silly glasses!

So we recently got a Wii...Jerry bought it with his Christmas money and I bought the WiiFit to go with it!! We have been having SOO much fun this week! This is something that our entire family enjoys. We have been on it for countless hours since we got it on Tuesday. It is seriously addicting, becuase you try to beat everyone's top scores and it is hard to stop. The WiiFit is a great workout! lol. I have been on it for over an hour everyday so far cuz you just can't stop doing it! Even Olivia LOVES to watch us doing the Wii. It is so addicting that my cousins just bought one for themselves at my grandmas. We had a Wii Night tonight over at Grandmas. Even Grandma got on the Wii and was cracking up watching us trying to figure this thing out!

On another note, Olivia has ANOTHER cold....we are going to have to go to the doctor's tommorow on a Saturday. She has a rash on her stomach, you almost can't see it but you can feel it, tiny, tiny red bumps? And today she has been really unlike herself, crying and screaming alot so Im not sure what is going on? Poor thing. She finally fell asleep though! Thank goodness for Aunt Mel and all of her help tonight! Nothing more pitiful than a sick baby....

Other than that we have just been hanging in there and trying to keep busy. I can't believe how fast the time is going by! She is already over 3 months old! They seriously grow up too fast! In addition to our new Wii, I bought myself a little present...a new digital camera!!! Since I am addicted to taking pictures (she's only small once!) I decided to upgrade...I got a Nikkon CoolPix P80...i really like it so far, although I have to read the manual and figure out how to use it!

Cereal

Today I gave Olivia cereal for the first time. They say that when they are sitting supported and making a chewing motion with their mouths to go ahead and try it. So we did! She LOVED the cereal! Although it was really funny to watch her eat it becuase she didnt exactly open wide and let you stick the spoon in! She instead likes to lick the spoon clean! lol. We were all laughing watching her trying to lick every last taste off of the spoon! I only gave her a few bites becuase I wasnt sure how much she would want but she really enjoyed it! I don't think she will get it on a regular basis yet, but it was a nice treat for her! Later on this evening we got her all dressed up in her Red Wings outfit to gear up for the game!!

3 Months Old

Olivia is 3 months old today! I cant believe how fast the time has flown by! We have been really busy the past few weeks. I am back to work 3 days a week. It has been going okay although I would MUCH rather be home with Olivia. She stays with my mom while I am gone. She is really becoming fun these days. She smiles ALL the time. She wants to laugh but just cant quite get it out yet. Liv is very strong now. She holds her head up all the time. She can also support her weight on her legs and loves to stand up and play. She is beginning to sleep less and less throughout the day. Which is just fine cuz she sleeps a lot at night! We are guessing her to weigh around 12-13 pounds.

Last week we gave her a bath for the first time in the big bathtub sitting in her Bumbo chair. (She LOVES this seat!) so we had fun and were standing in the kitchen after her bath. She started making some gurgling noises...I knew what was coming! Before I knew it she had puked ALL OVER the kitchen!! The cupboards, floor, stove, dishwasher, and even her Aunt Emma who just happened to also be on the kitchen floor. I just immediately started laughing becuase I knew Emma was going to be upset about the puke, cuz this is not the first time it has happened to her and she has already claimed to be 'scared of puke'. So there I was laughing and Emma was SCREAMING about the puke. Both girls ended up back in the tub!

Other than that things are going great for us! 2009 is definetly going better than 2008! I can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds for us! I hope that everyone else is doing as well as we are! I am VERY happy with life and the surprises it seems to throw at me!

What a Busy Week!

We have had a really busy week! We were trying to visit with everyone we could over the holidays before I have to go back to work part time. I am not really looking forward to it, but you have to do what you have to do right? Jimmy's Uncle Peter, Aunt Sylvia, and cousin Leslie were visiting from Texas so we went over to see them twice. We also went to visit Olivia's boyfriend (lol) Dominic! They already make a cute couple! We also visited with quite a few of my friends from high school. We went to see Kelly one day and then Kelli, Greg, Sean and KT on another. We had a lot of fun but were very tired from all of the running around. Also during this past week Olivia learned how to grab a toy that hangs down from her playmat! She loves this flower that hangs down and grabs it almost everytime shes on the mat! She has really found her voice this past week and is always talking, cooing, and gurgling at anything and everything. It is adorable! She is starting to be soo much fun these days! She has also been sleeping through the night for the past few weeks!! It is sooo nice to get a good chunk of sleep each night! We'll see how this week goes with me working, lucky for us Grandma is our babysitter!!!!
